The Israeli Design Center and faucet manufacturers "Hamat" invite you- designers, architects and design students- To a guided tour in the company's production line in Ashdod.

Hamat is the largest manufacturer, marketer, and exporter of faucets in the Israeli industrial market.  All the various kinds of company faucets are manufactured in the company base in Ashdod; this is where the entire production process in conducted- from the initial product design and engineering through the final finish and testing.

• On Tuesday, April 4^th 2008, between 10:00-12:30, there will be a tour in Hamat. This is a guided tour and participants will be allowed to see every stage of the production line - beginning with planning, permanent mold casting and forging, though machining, to robotic grinding, polishing and buffing, completing the faucet finish, to final assembly and packaging...

The tour is intended for designers, architects, design students and anyone else interested in coming.

Participants will be required to arrive at the Israeli Design Center and from there will be taken by bus to the factory.

Return: 13:30 PM

There is no charge for the tour.
