A new international competition sponsored and organized by Designboom and Macef that focuses on silver kitchen ware, tablewear.

Proposals for this competition may include designs on cutlery, kitchenwear and serviceable tablewear that radiate prestige and fresh design thinking- and are of course made of silver.

The design must incorporate silver as a central material but additional materials may be used- wood, stone, leather, plastic and more...
Innovative manufacturing methods and creative (functional) designs will be accepted gladly (designs for jewelry or fashion accessories will not).

Awards:
Each of the three first-place winners will be awarded € 3000. In addition, select projects will be presented to manufacturers and members of industry who will consider manufacturing them for the market.

And as always, Designboom will produce a comprehensive catalogue of the works of all participants. The catalogue will be posted on the company website.
